Who Is Jazzy?

I'm Jasmine, a registered home baker and owner of Jazzy Bakes. I have a Certificate III in Patisserie and am constantly striving to develop my skills and ideas even further. For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for being in the kitchen and creating beautiful treats that look good and taste fabulous. I love experimenting with new recipes, designs and flavour combinations, and I am a dedicated chocolate lover.

Range

Jazzy Bakes offers a range of fresh-baked small cakes, slices and biscuits. I supply products to local cafes and restaurants. Within the range of menu options, I can also customise products with unique fillings and decorations, to bring a touch of decadence to your event! Menu Options

  • Cupcakes: vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, ginger spice, chai & honey, with flavour options buttercream/ganache/fondant
  • Friands: blueberry, white choc and lemon friands, raspberry, dark chocolate & flaked almond friands
  • Mini cakes (max. 10cm diameter): apricot choc chip with chocolate ganache, mocha cake with mocha buttercream
  • Slices: dark choc fudge brownie, dark choc & orange fudge brownie, cherry ripe with chocolate ganache, lemon coconut
  • New York style biscuits: macadamia, white choc & cranberry, Anzacs, double choc chip, peanut butter choc chip, oreo style, stuffed nutella, biscoff & white chocolate, stuffed biscoff
  • Other Biscuits: pistachio amaretti, Viennese
  • Other: choc ganache truffles with macadamia and dried fruit

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have the appropriate food preparation licences? Yes. My business is registered with ASIC, and registered as a home-based business with the Mitchell Shire Council. In addition, I have a valid food handler's permit.

Do you offer allergen-free options? I am able to cater to gluten free and dairy free dietary requirements for some products. However, please note, although not all products produced by Jazzy Bakes contain allergens, all products are created in a kitchen that processes allergens. Jazzy Bakes cannot be held responsible for any medical issues that arise from consumption of products. By purchasing from me, you understand and agree to this. A small extra charge may apply for allergen-free products. Please contact me to discuss.

What about pricing? Pricing is calculated based on the cost of all ingredients, supplies and overheads required for making your order, as well as labour charge for my time in making the product, and delivery charges (if relevant - see below). Please click here for current prices. (Cafes, please email or phone me for the current price list). (For most products, a minimum quantity order will apply.)

How does payment work? After an initial chat to confirm the details of your order, I will send you a quote with a total price and price breakdown for your custom products. If you are ready to proceed with your order, a 50% deposit will be required for orders over $100, which must be paid no later than 7 days before your event, in order for me to begin. The remaining charge can then be paid on the day of the event. For orders under $100, no deposit is required, and the full charge can be paid on the day of the event. For cafes and restaurants, please contact me to discuss the payment process. Payment can be made via Bank Deposit or cash on the day. Please note that 2 weeks notice is required, otherwise extra charges may apply.

Do you deliver? Yes. I offer both. You can choose to pick up your order from my premises in Beveridge, or arrange for delivery to your event, with applicable delivery charge. The delivery charge is $20/hour. Delivery time includes driving there and back.

Other products? Other flavours? The items listed on the menu show the full range of products I currently offer. However, I am always looking to expand my menu options, and will happily consider your ideas.
